The day of the BBQ had arrived. Sergio had a nice Webber charcoal grill so that was perfect for Holly. He had purchased two chickens to BBQ and he started on those first since they would take longer to cook.
Then Holly cooked her Tri Tip and we all tried it as she sliced it. Holly loves BBQing Tri Tip and has cooked them dozens of times but I must say that this was one of the best Tri-tips she had ever made. This particular Tri-Tip had a nice cap of fat on it and the fire was extra hot so it was extra juicy and tasty. Holly also grilled a few hot dogs but we didn’t have any hot dog buns so Sergio went out and bought a couple of packs of hot dogs buns but then we had too many buns so we started making Tri-Tip sandwiches using the Hot dog buns. It turns out that Tri-Tip with a little mayo on a hot dog bun is delicious!
After the BBQ I set up my Oculus VR system and as usual it was a big hit with everyone and blew people’s minds. Everyone took a turn trying it out until it got quite late and it was time to go to bed.
