The next day we went to a local park for the day. It was a beautiful day, mid 70’s and sunny. So glad we didn’t head west and fry in the 110 degree weather. We spent the entire day at the park before heading back to the Cracker Barrel for the night.
The next day we loaded up some groceries at an Asian supermarket before stopping by a Vietnamese restaurant for Pho for dinner. Minneapolis doesn’t have a real Chinatown but it does have a lot of Southeast Asian refugees so there are a number of Asian places spread out around Minneapolis. Afterwards we drove to a rest stop for the night.
Getting up we drove four more hours to the Wisconsin Dells, the waterpark capital of the world. This small town in Wisconsin has over 22 waterparks. We booked a week stay at the Country Roads RV park. We had been moving very fast since we left Houston and now that we had reached decent weather it was time to take a break and chill out for a week. Wisconsin Dells is a tourist town so there were plenty of attractions to keep us busy for a week. This would also allow us to catch up on schooling, do some maintenance and I could have our mail forwarded.
